Finding Your Voice

Since its founding in 2009, Parklife Communications has formed the messaging framework for websites, blogs, and social media outlets for nearly a dozen companies in the Southeast. We work with companies marketing consumer products and business-to-business services, including life sciences consulting, legal, human resources, management consulting, and product design and development for home improvement, tools, and medical devices.

Brian Castle is the founder and principal consultant of Parklife Communications. Brian’s consulting perspective stems from his educational background in creative writing and journalism with over a decade of professional experience consulting with entrepreneurs and business executives for several Fortune 500 companies.

Driven by a love of the written word that ranges from music to poetry, from novels to short stories, as well as the odd essay or two, Brian sees his work as writing the lyrics that accompany compelling graphic and site design for some of the Triangle’s best business brands.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville, Brian studied creative writing, literature, and political science, in addition to his time as a columnist, feature writer, managing editor, and editor-in-chief of the school’s newspaper, The Blue Banner.

Brian lives and works in Hillsborough, North Carolina with his wife, Jeanette, and their dogs and cats. An avid reader and early adopter of new technology, Brian takes his influences from many of his life’s passions, including sports, politics, art, and a never-ending flood of content from social media.
